Anthony Carr is an artist working in photography, sculpture and moving image. Excited by the ways in which these fields overlap and with an approach rooted in experimentation, Carr is particularly interested in the intersection of art and science, often using the power of slow photography to show what’s visible and reveal what’s invisible. Carr has exhibited and screened his work throughout the UK and internationally in countries across four continents, including both Canada and the US. In 2021 he was awarded the inaugural Glover Rayner Prize for sustainable photography (UK) and a Greenlight film production grant from MediaNet (Canada). Carr is a founding member of the RAW STOCK film collective, and lives and works in Lək̓ʷəŋən/ Victoria.
